As our retreat comes to a close, we offer our heartfelt thanks for your presence and practice. May your journey ahead be safe and your Dharma path continue with strength and joy. We hope to see you again next year. To help us close the retreat with care and respect for this sacred space, please review the following:
Departure Procedures
Cleaning Temple and Dining Area:
Please visit these areas and make sure none of your personal belongings are left behind and remove anything you no longer wish to use or keep. Even items with names written on them are likey to be disarded.
Cleaning – Rooms

- LINENS: Strip your bed and bring sheets and blankets (NOT PILLOWS) to the CENTRAL HALLWAY of the South Dorm. Leave pillows in the room.
- BELONGINGS: Remove all personal items. Groups come through and anything left behind is likely to be tossed out.
- CLEANING:
- Vacuum thoroughly using the vacuum in your dorm.
- Please return the vacuum to its proper place and do not move vacuums between buildings.
- Remove all trash, especially food, and bring to the red dumpster, or a bin behind the kitchen.
- Vacuum thoroughly using the vacuum in your dorm.

- Return your key to the office and collect your deposit before you leave. We care more about the key than the deposit! 🙂
Cleaning – Tents

- BELONGINGS: Remove all personal belongings, food items, and trash from your tent and the area surrounding it.
- It would also be very helpful if you would pick up any litter you see while walking through the grounds near your tent.
- LINENS: Return all center-issued linens (sheets, blankets, pillows) to the Central Hallway on the ground floor of the South Dorm. Do not place sheets inside pillowcases
- CLEANING: Do not use kitchen brooms in tents, as they may carry grease.
- BELONGINGS: Remove all personal belongings, food items, and trash from your tent and the area surrounding it.
Let us know if you leave prior to August 10 or after August 10.
