The devotional practice of Guru Yoga is the only way to awaken within you the realization of the uncontrived state. No other method can bring such realization.

The empowerment of Guru Rinpoche is generally given the weekend before this practice is taught, so those taking only this class should consider coming for the previous weekend and then coming for this short retreat. Refer to this website for the most up-to-date empowerment schedule. This schedule may not be posted until July 10, the opening day of retreat.

This is the last of the extraordinary inner preliminaries. To complete this practice, one must accumulate 100,000 recitations.
