Retreat Cancellations and Refunds Policy
Cancellation and Refund Policy (NEW - applicable as of 1/1/2014):
We created the in-advance registration process in order to help the center best plan for your needs. The center therefore needs your help in following the procedures below so we do not purchase supplies that then go unused, etc. Thank you for your help and cooperation.
Please note: Refunds, particularly those received during retreat, are usually processed at the end of the retreat when the books are being closed.
Request refund one month or more in advance of arrival: full refund minus 5% of fee for processing
Request refund greater than one week (7 days) in advance of arrival but less than one month (28 days) in advance of arrival : full refund minus 10% of fee for processing and planning
Request refund up to one week in advance of arrival: 80% refund
Full-retreat: Request refund within one week after arrival: 75% refund of days remaining for retreat. From the eighth day of your retreat on, 50% refund of days remaining for retreat.
Half-retreat or less: Request refund after your retreat starts: 50% refund of days remaining for retreat. This means if your retreat lasts two weeks, and you cancel 5 days in, we would refund you half of the days remaining for your retreat.
Expelled Retreatants: In the event that you are expelled from the retreat for violating our published rules, your refund will follow the rules outlined above.
After the retreat has ended and the books are closed, it is generally not possible to receive a refund.
Please note this policy is not applicable retroactively. It may be possible to apply your refund to a future retreat, when based on the policy above. Let us know if this is your preference.
Refunds are usually completed the last week of retreat in one batch. Thank you!
