The Palyul Retreat Center is located in McDonough, New York in the United States. It was established in 1998 by Dzogchen Master, His Holiness Penor Rinpoche, to provide Westerners with the opportunity to study and practice Buddhism. To learn about the center, visit this link...

Watch Out for Deer!

Deer, Skunk, Rabbits, Coyotes, Fox - all call the center home while we are away. When driving to the center, be sure to exercise extreme caution, especially at night! There is a deer family at the stone house and a family that lives between the Dzogchen huts and the field to the left of the temple drive.

Center Skype

Our Skype ID during retreat is "Palyul" - please feel free to contact us that way if it is easier for you!

Webcasts from the Retreat Center

We'd like to invite you to join in the daily practice at the retreat center. This is a great opportunity to carry through the basic practices of the retreat from your own home. If you are in the office, bring a headset and you can listen as you work, while keeping in mind the sacredness of the chants you hear.

Webcasts from the retreat center are done daily at 7 AM and 9 AM. When "live," you can view these here:

Or visit any of these previously recorded webcasts:
